刻舟求剑的意思是指在剑落水的船帮上刻上记号，船停后，从刻记号的地方下水去找。比喻不会随着事物的变化来进步性的看待事物，仍然用旧的、不变的眼光看待事物。出自《吕氏春秋·察今》。
