辶是一个汉字偏旁部首,读音为chuò。俗称“走之底”,简称“走之儿”,实际上并非源于“走”或“之”,而是源于“辵”(chuò)。

辶 is a radical of a Chinese character, pronounced chuò. Commonly known as “Zou Zhi Di”, or “Zou Zhi Er” for short, it does not actually originate from “Zou” or “Zhi”, but from “辵” (chuò).

In the traditional Chinese calligraphy, 辶 is the part of chuò (chuò). “辵” means to stop and go [seal text from 彳 (chì) to stop]. There are more words that are classified into the ruling department than this, such as “in” and “retreat”.

Examples: Yun, Jiong, Mi, Send, Yuan, Retreat, Dao, Liao, Ni, Xun, etc.
