The exam is held by provincial governments under directions from the Ministry of Education and is required for undergraduate admissions to all higher education institutions in the country. The Gaokao is taken by high school seniors at the end of their final year.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u9ad8\u8003\u6301\u7eed\u5927\u7ea6 9 \u4e2a\u5c0f\u65f6\uff0c\u4e3a\u671f\u4e24\u5929\u6216\u4e09\u5929\uff0c\u5177\u4f53\u53d6\u51b3\u4e8e\u4e3e\u884c\u7684\u7701\u7ea7\u884c\u653f\u533a\u57df\u3002\u6240\u6709\u5b66\u751f\u90fd\u5fc5\u987b\u53c2\u52a0\u8bed\u6587\u548c\u6570\u5b66\u8003\u8bd5\u3002\u8003\u751f\u53ef\u4ee5\u4ece\u82f1\u8bed\u3001\u6cd5\u8bed\u3001\u65e5\u8bed\u3001\u4fc4\u8bed\u3001\u5fb7\u8bed\u6216\u897f\u73ed\u7259\u8bed\u4e2d\u9009\u62e9\u4e00\u95e8\u79d1\u76ee\u4f5c\u4e3a\u5916\u8bed\u90e8\u5206\u7684\u8003\u8bd5\uff0c\u5927\u591a\u6570\u5b66\u751f\u9009\u62e9\u82f1\u8bed\u3002\u5b66\u751f\u8fd8\u5fc5\u987b\u9009\u62e9\u6587\u79d1\u6216\u7406\u79d1\u3002\u9009\u62e9\u6587\u79d1\u7684\u5b66\u751f\u5c06\u63a5\u53d7\u5386\u53f2\u3001\u653f\u6cbb\u5b66\u548c\u5730\u7406\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u8fdb\u4e00\u6b65\u6d4b\u8bd5\uff0c\u800c\u9009\u62e9\u7406\u79d1\u7684\u5b66\u751f\u5219\u8981\u63a5\u53d7\u7269\u7406\u3001\u5316\u5b66\u548c\u751f\u7269\u5b66\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u6d4b\u8bd5\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u5b66\u751f\u83b7\u5f97\u7684\u603b\u5206\u662f\u5404\u79d1\u76ee\u5206\u6570\u7684\u52a0\u6743\u548c\u3002\u6700\u9ad8\u5206\u6bcf\u5e74\u548c\u5404\u7701\u90fd\u6709\u6240\u4e0d\u540c\uff0c\u4f46\u901a\u5e38\u4e3a 750 \u5206\u3002\u8003\u8bd5\u4e00\u822c\u5728\u6bcf\u5e74 6 \u6708 7 \u65e5\u81f3 8 \u65e5\u4e3e\u884c\uff0c\u4f46\u6709\u4e9b\u7701\u4efd\u53ef\u80fd\u4f1a\u5ef6\u957f\u4e00\u5929\u3002\u9ad8\u8003\u6781\u5c11\u6570\u60c5\u51b5\u4e0b\u4f1a\u63a8\u8fdf\uff0c\u6700\u660e\u663e\u7684\u539f\u56e0\u662f COVID-19 \u75ab\u60c5\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The Gaokao lasts approximately nine hours for a period of two or three days, depending on the provincial administrative regions where it is held. All students must take exams on Chinese and mathematics. Candidates can choose one subject from English, French, Japanese, Russian, German, or Spanish for the foreign language portion of the exam, with most students selecting English. Students must also choose between either the Arts track or the Science track. Students who choose the Arts track receive further testing in History, Political Science, and Geography, while those who choose the Science track are tested in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.<\/p>\n<p>The overall score received by the student is a weighted sum of their subject marks. The maximum possible score varies from year to year and from province to province, although it is usually 750. Generally, the exam takes place from 7 to 8 June every year, though in some provinces it can last for an extra day.
