The short holiday refers to the adjustment of holidays by relevant national departments, canceling the May Day International Labor Day holiday, and adding the traditional festivals New Year&#8217;s Day, Qingming, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival as legal holidays, forming the tradition of New Year&#8217;s Day, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, May Day, National Day, and Spring Festival Festive holiday system. Around 2012, the public was often critical of the General Office of the State Council&#8217;s arrangements for some holidays. One of the main reasons was that the arrangement of weekends was unstructured. Rest and work in a month were sometimes broken down into eight sections, and sometimes there were consecutive breaks.
